Because I have been sending out essays and poems for about 20 years, I have snagged a couple of publications. Yay me!!! I am posting the links on this page just in case you want to check them out!
What We Made you can find at Literary Mama a fantastic monthly literary journal where mothers write fiction, nonfiction, and poetry about kids and moms and families. Even if you hate my essay, you will love Literary Mama!
My essay, Lift, won the Spring 2013 Orlando Prize for Creative Nonfiction and was published in Issue No. 14 of The Los Angeles Review. You can find Lift and lots of other great writing by women and inspiration for yourself on the AROHO website.
The wonderful literary magazine, The Louisville Review published my essay The Wet Spot, and you can find a PDF of the Fall 2011 Issue online. The Wet Spot is on page 98, but I suggest you read the entire issue because it is a great journal. The Louisville Review lives at Spalding University which is where I graduated with my MFA in CNF. That place is like a second home to me.
A big thanks to you for reading!!!
